Apparently the first copies of Sonic Frontiers are already on sale in some stores, which should not surprise too much considering that there are now a few days left before the official release date on PC and consoles, set for November 8, 2022. Unfortunately it also means that some users already in possession of the game could share spoilers on the web about plot or game content that could spoil the surprise of other users.
One of the first reports came from @Cahloosh on Twitter, who posted a photo of his copy of Sonic Frontiers for PS5, apparently purchased in Australia based on price and the presence of the Australian Classification “PG” logo on the packaging. The user claims that he will not share spoilers, but that the first information will probably appear on the net in the next few hours.
Sonic Frontiers will be released in stores a day before God of War Ragnarok and even in his case the first copies of the game are circulating and inevitably also spoilers on the plot, boss and gameplay. The advice, if you are interested in one or both games, is to limit your searches online, Twitter and, above all, the YouTube homepage. The latter social network could in fact recommend videos with spoilers based on your preferences and history, so the risk of ruining some surprises is very high.
Staying on the subject, Metacritic has revealed when the Sonic Frontiers review embargo will expire. In the meantime, if you haven’t done it yet, we suggest you read our tried-and-true blue hedgehog adventure.
