Without revealing anything concrete, a few days ago the guys from BioWare again made the name of Mass Effectreiterating for the umpteenth time, clearly, that the new next-gen chapter in development will be single player.
The mention, which came in passing at the end of an update on the development of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, proved to be enough to rekindle the spark of curiosity in the fans of the saga, also because we are inexorably approaching the ‘N7 Day November 7, the annual Mass Effect anniversary. Having seen and considered the confidentiality of BioWare, an enthusiast asked directly to Jennifer Halefemale voice of Commander Shepard of the first trilogy, if there are any news planned at N7 Day. In response, the voice actress (who recently also voiced the protagonist of Bayonetta 3) wrote “Stay tuned”hinting that there is something big in preparation.
The Hale teaser has opened the door for several speculations, making hope for an update on the new Mass Effect on N7 Day. The voice actress’s possible involvement in the developing game could also imply the presence of Commander Shepard as a rumor from last May suggested (although denied by BioWare). We also don’t feel like excluding any announcements regarding Mass Effect Legendary Edition: the possibility of a port for Switch, for example, has already been discussed in the past. We will know more on Monday 7 November.
