A hotel in Amsterdam isn’t thrilled with its unwanted involvement in shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
In the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II campaign, the Amsterdam level has been praised by players since early access for its realistic and faithful implementation. We had reported on it and shown a comparison.
Roy Tomassen, however, finds no words of praise for it. The manager isn’t thrilled about the unwanted involvement in the game. More precisely from his Conservatorium Hotel, which is used in the game and as a multiplayer map in the shooter under the name Breenbergh Hotel.
Tomassen told de Volkskrant:
“We have noted that the Conservatorium Hotel is undesirably the location of the new Call of Duty. In general, we don’t support games that appear to encourage violence. The game in no way reflects our core values and we regret our obvious and unwanted involvement.”
We’re still contemplating what to do next. Information on plans, whether legal or not, was not made.
