One of the interesting things about Hideo Kojima’s games is how he not only offers stories or gameplay as aspects that can be enjoyed, but also how he pays extra attention to other elements such as the cinematic approach to the music chosen to accompany it. For this last issue, not even a few references to cool songs were born from the concoction game, including for some foreign band names that most likely missed your radar. One of them? Low Roar band on Death Stranding.
Unfortunately, in the midst of their popularity, this band actually comes with bad news. The main vocalist – Ryan Karazija is reported to have died at the age of 40 due to complications from pneumonia. As a person who makes his work as an important element. Kojima expressed his condolences via social media. Kojima said that without Ryan’s figure, there would never be Death Stranding. The music that Ryan composed will forever exist in the world and in the person of Kojima.
I heard the news. I can’t believe it. I don’t want to believe it. Without Ryan, without you and your music, Death Stranding would not have been born. Your music will live forever in this world and in me. Thank you. Rest in peace.

Low Roar itself is reportedly still going to release their sixth album after Ryan’s death, with no information whether he will be “absorbed” by Kojima in the latest game project he is currently working on or not. How about you? Have you ever enjoyed Low Roar’s works during the popularity of Death Stranding?
