Alexa’s Next AI Trick: Fading
November 2, 12:35 pm to 1 pm
The concept of environmental intelligence embodies technology that is seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives and responds to our needs and preferences. An example would be a ‘smart home’ or ‘smart city’, where buildings and infrastructure are equipped with sensors and connected to a network that can collect and process data.
This data is used to make our lives easier, for example by automatically adjusting the temperature or lighting in our homes or providing real-time traffic information.
Many homes already have an example of this in the form of their virtual assistant, such as Alexa devices that can control everything from lighting and heating to your kettle or television.
In this talk, Alexa Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist Rohit Prasad will talk about the future of Alexa and environmental intelligence. This one is definitely for gadget fans.
