Starlink, Elon Musk’s satellite network based on its own constellation of proprietary satellites, substantially lowers the subscription prices also in Italy. From the € 70 previously requested, it now goes to € 50, even if the price for the purchase of the antenna is still exorbitant. The debut of the service in our country dates back to May. Here is our dedicated guide.
The service represents a valid opportunity for those who want a fast internet connection but are not reached by the optical fiber or the classic ADSL network. This is the case, for example, of some smaller and “rural” municipalities. The service proposed by Elon Musk makes up for this lack both in our country and elsewhere.
Now, after the first months of “running in” in the beautiful country, Musk has finally decided to lower the monthly fee of Starlink making it more accessible to users. Users have been notified of this substantial change via an email that reads:
“Starting on 11/11/2022, Starlink will reduce your monthly fee from € 70 per month to € 50 per month. No action is required on your part, the price reduction will automatically be visible on your next invoice ”.
The price cut was also confirmed on the official website, where it is also possible to activate the “free” 30-day trial, at the cost of a single euro. Along with the subscription will of course also be provided the new satellite antenna costing € 409.
An excellent promotion, which allows you to experience the potential of Starlink first-hand without having to face the exorbitant price requested at the first installment out of your own pocket.
Musk also jumped to the headlines recently due to his intention to pay certain functions of Twitter. After his inauguration at the head of the Social Network, keeping the blue tick will cost the verified profiles $ 8 per month.
