The developers of New Star Gamesthe BAFTA award-winning studio that has created successful video games such as Retro Bowl e New Star Soccer, have recently confirmed that their Retro Goal will land on the hybrid console of the Grande N in time for the World Cup in Qatar. The title in question mixes arcade gameplay inspired by the classics of the 16-bit era with some typical management mechanics. In addition to being compatible with both the Joy-Con than with the touch screen by Switch, Retro Goal will feature a total of 496 selectable teams, divided into 24 leagues from around the globe.
At the moment it is not clear if the Switch version will be distributed as free to play like the Android / iOS one or if it will require the purchase on the eShop, in any case its release is set by the end of the current month.
