The Google Play system of our Android smartphones and tablets is updating this November with some small improvements, such as downloads via the Play Store. Google has released the summary of its system changes.

Every month, Google releases the summary of Google Play and Play Store updates. The opportunity to fix bugs, but also to improve Google services, as is the case this month. On the program: the arrival of the Android 13 photo picker on older versions of the OS, a little novelty for children under parental control or even optimizations of the Play Store.
The Play Store just got better
Google announced adding new features “to help you discover the apps and games you love”, without revealing more. Especially since the application store interface was reviewed a few months ago.

The Play Store also benefits from improvements to Play Protect (to protect devices) as well as “various performance optimizations, bug fixes and security, stability and accessibility improvements”. Finally, and this is good news, downloading and installing applications should be faster and more reliable.
Google Play improvements in November 2022
Apart from the Play Store, other functions of Google services also benefit from improvements. This is the case of account management: until now, supervised users (for example via parental control) could not modify the time of the smartphone. Now they can do it, but on the condition that there is no time limit activated. Your toddlers will not be able to cheat unfortunately (for them).

Another good news is the new photo picker that extends to smartphones running Android 4.4. This is a feature available in some apps that need to access images and videos from your device. It is therefore particularly practical for instant messaging applications.
Also, Google Wallet sees its API updated “to allow deep links to other Google Wallet screens”. On the other hand, merchants will be able to dynamically create a GPay button and customize it. Android novelties can lose some users and Google seems to be aware of it. It updates the “user training experience” for these changes.
