In addition to recently discussing the importance of female characters in Final Fantasy 16, producer Naoki Yoshida spoke about Square-Enix’s plans for a a demonstration version of the JRPG.
The topic was gutted by Yoshida during an interview granted to Dengeki’s microphones, on which occasion the producer revealed that the Japanese company intends to release a playable demo of Final Fantasy 16 shortly before its official release, so as to keep the attention of fans alive and stimulate their curiosity. We would like to clarify, however, that it could be a statement that is not totally reliable, as it is obtained from the sources through the use of an automatic translator for Japanese.
The recent interviews granted by Yoshida have among other things allowed us to collect further relevant information regarding the next chapter of the series dedicated to the ‘Final Fantasy’. The producer has in fact also talked about the release date of Final Fantasy 16, stating that new information on the matter will be shared by the end of the year. The development of the game, continued Yoshida, is now in the final stages and there should be no further delays compared to the launch window scheduled for this summer on PlayStation 5.
