After the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk, many companies are withdrawing advertising from Twitter by not sharing the new guidelines dictated by Elon and the many news arriving on the famous Social Network. Nintendo could also be among these companies.
In particular, it seems that many brands whose communication is managed by the Interpublic Group of Companies in the United States have decided to stop investing in Twitter advertisingamong these brands we find Volkswagen, Audi, CVS (chain of pharmacies and parapharmacies very famous in the USA), General Mills and Mondelez International, in addition, among the customers of the company there is also Nintendo, which could therefore join the list of advertisers fleeing from Twitter.
It is not entirely clear if Nintendo of America has actually decided not to promote its activities on Twitter anymore, the choice seems to be shared by many brands linked to the Interpublic Group but we do not know exactly whether Nintendo has also decided to join the boycott or not.
Twitter is currently in the eye of the storm due to Elon Musk’s choices, such as the decision to fire employees via email without notice, a choice that has already led to the first lawsuits for the lack of respect for human rights. Twitter has lost a million users in a few days and is suffering a big drop in revenue due to the shocks brought about by the new owner.
