Cyberpunk 2077 game news: CD Projekt continues its optimization work with update 1.61!

In a big month, Cyberpunk 2077 will celebrate two years since its launch. A failed launch that has become a real textbook case within the industry. This did not prevent the game from selling 14 million copies before the transition to the year 2021. Since then, the game has received many updates, and it has visibly won back the hearts of players.
Cyberpunk 2077: the long road to redemption
Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10, 2020, and that day is cold shower for a lot of players. While the majority of development capacity is currently allocated to the expansion, there are still developers whose burden is to continue the update work on Cyberpunk 2077. So here is patch 1.61already available, which fixes bugs related to quests, the interface and gameplay, brings some visual improvements, and optimizes the experience on PC and consoles.

In the case of achievements for which the conditions were met earlier in a given save, note that it may be necessary to try again with a new game or an earlier save where the conditions were not yet met. Loading should no longer get stuck when playing the game on GOG without an internet connection. Fixed a bug where upgrading an item to a higher rarity level would crash the game.
CONSOLES SPECIFIC CHANGES
Fixed a bug where Cross progression saves on Xbox One console were not transferring to PC or PlayStation. Fixed a bug where after logging into GOG on PlayStation, the My Rewards section displayed an error.
STADIA SPECIFIC CHANGES
Fixed a bug where the game would not stop when gameplay was paused.
Added compatibility with AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 (PC and next-gen consoles only). Fixed a bug where, under specific circumstances, Judy could disappear from the game while in her apartment. Fixed a bug where the interaction with the wardrobe in the nomad camp was duplicated after having spent the time there. It will no longer be possible to play on arcade cabinets placed horizontally.
