The infamous GTA 6 leak has poured so much of that material onto the net that, almost two months after the incident, the stolen files continue to be the subject of analysis and speculation by the most curious and impatient fans.
Sifting through the lines of code, the Twitter user known as Staatskassen discovered very clear references to some gameplay mechanics which are not present in the old episodes of Grand Theft Auto. Among these, certainly stand out the possibility of getting in prone position and the taken in meleethe latter a possibility already offered in Red Dead Redemption 2. From the western starring Arthur Morgan, GTA 6 may also have inherited a cinematic viewwhich would allow you to put down the pad and enjoy the view during crossings and trips to mission destinations.
For the record, we point out that commands have also been found to communicate with a “buddy”, that is a companion (remember that the rumors speak of a double protagonist for GTA 6), and functions as the surrenderself-elimination after a culled and self-resuscitation, presumably designed for the online component of the future game.
Although there are clear references in the stolen code, we cannot in any way assume that these functions will be implemented in the final version of the game, therefore, pending confirmation we advise you to take everything for what it is, that is a series of speculations. Confirmations that apparently could be late in coming: Take-Two reiterated that Grand Theft Auto 6 will take a long time, since quality is the only thing that matters.
