Mage and Monsters is a recently released game where you create an army and use spells while it fights for you. Mage & Monsters is an action-packed auto-battler where you have to choose wisely between upgrading your army and increasing your spell power.
Below is a list of changes in the new patch:
New unit: Pyromancer – Level 4: Medium range, 35 health, 16 damage, fast attack speed. After every 6 attacks, creates a fireball that passes through units, dealing 50% Pyromancer attack damage to all enemies it hits. It requires 150 Blood Shards to open.
New unit: Necromancer – level 5: short range, 60 health, 30 damage, medium attack speed. After every 6 attacks, summon an undead gnome with 40 damage. health and 12 units. damage. It requires 150 Blood Shards to open.
New spell: Teleport – teleports up to 5/6/7/12 units. Cannot be used in the first 8/4/0/0 seconds of combat. Action time 10 seconds. It requires 300 Blood Shards to open. New feature: Reselect upgrade. Each rank allows you to reselect upgrades 1 time per game. Max 3 ranks. Requires 100/200/300 Blood Shards to open. New feature: You can now enable “Auto change speed” in the settings. This feature will speed up the game if all of your spells are idle, and will return to 1x speed if you can cast a spell. Lost at level 35 and below now awards more Blood Shards*.
Sinon starting gold bonus from 70 to 80. Cyclops damage from 55 to 45 Cyclops health from 120 to 80. Bonus gold received from upgrades at levels 1-10 reduced from 1-20 to 0-20. Bonus gold for upgrades at levels 11-20 from 6-25 to 0-25. Bonus gold for upgrades at level 21+ from 11-30 to 0-30.
Developer Note: This is to ensure that if a lvl 5 unit is better than the rest, it may not always be the best choice if you now get much more gold by choosing a different unit. The increase in RNG is at least slightly offset by the new re-throw feature.
Increased gold from 60 to 50 gold at levels 1-10. Increased gold from 75 to 65 at levels 11-20.
Changed cyclops attack speed text to medium speed so it matches the unit’s actual attack speed. Fixed an issue with the 1000 Blood Shards achievement where it would sometimes not work.
