Among the many announcements of the Nintendo Indie World of November we also find the highly anticipated reveal of the launch window of Sports Story, the ambitious (and repeatedly postponed) role-playing game by Sidebar Games.
The sequel to Golf Story promises to remain in the path traced in 2017 by the first chapter of this IP, but with numerous improvements, optimizations, additions and ‘playful news’ to discover by freely exploring one scenery full of activities to do and sports to practice.
The protagonist of the Sidebar team’s new golfing adventure will have to study at a renowned tennis academy, cultivate friendships on campus and expand his network of acquaintances while pursuing sporting excellence. The village exquisitely reconstructed in pixel art by the indie software house will be the backdrop to a real odyssey, with dungeons to explore, numerous mini-games to excel in and many treasures to unearth.
The Sports Story Decasportathon will officially start in December exclusively on Nintendo Switch. At the bottom and at the top of the news you will find the images and the new gameplay video proposed to us by Sidebar Games in the frame of the Indie World of the Kyoto house.
