The head coach of the London Chelsea Graham Potter shared his opinion about the defeat of the wards from Manchester City (0:2) in the match of the 1/16 finals of the English League Cup.
“I liked a lot. We created some big chances and attacked well. We were not perfect, but we did a lot of things right in this match. Nice game. Another step forward in how we want to play.
I’m disappointed with the result, but happy with the game. We showed courage in trying to recoup. The guys showed the level and courage. I liked a lot of what we did today. I always worry when we don’t get results. In recent matches, our game was not the way we wanted it to be. But today we looked like a good team,” admitted Potter.
Earlier, Graham Potter, who not so long ago took over at the head of Chelsea, was able to enter the club’s history of “pensioners”.
