November 10th, 2022 at 2:21 p.m. by Sara Petzold – The lighting technology manufacturer Signify is launching a chain of lights from the Philips Hue range just in time for Christmas, which should convince with smart functions. We present the hardware in more detail in our news.
Christmas 2022 is not that long in coming, which the lighting technology manufacturer Signify is taking as an opportunity to launch a very special chain of lights. The Philips Hue Festivia is designed to create a lot of Christmas spirit with special effects and to fit seamlessly into the Philips Hue ecosystem.
Individually controllable, smart LEDs create a festive atmosphere
According to the manufacturer, the Philips Hue Festivia has over 250 intelligent mini LEDs and a total length of 20 meters. Users can control the chain of lights via the Philips Hue app and not only change the color, but also dim the brightness or determine when they are switched on and off using the timer function. If you want, you can control the LEDs individually and create a flowing gradient of different colors.
In addition, the light chain is compatible with Spotify and Samsung SmartThings, so users can synchronize the hardware with their own music. The Philips Hue Festivia will then light up in sync with the music. In addition, the chain of lights has two special functions: the so-called sparkle effect provides a sparkling light that is intended to create a Christmas or festive atmosphere. There are also lighting modes with fireplace and candle effects. Finally, diffuse mode randomly activates five different colors on each LED of the string of lights.
Signify will be offering the Philips Hue Festivia chain of lights from November 11, 2022 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at a price of EUR 159.99 or CHF 199.95 on its own website. The Festivia integrates seamlessly into the Philips Hue ecosystem and can therefore be combined with all other products in the Philips Hue series.
