There are few details. The important ones are even fewer.
Some time ago, DICE, after reading criticism from the players of the specialist system in Battlefield 2042, came to the only right decision: to reformat this system back to the system of attack aircraft, scout, support and engineer classes. Existing specialists will be divided into classes, receive appropriate equipment, and so on.
It was assumed that changes will be made to the game along with the start of the third content season, but today DICE announced that it will still not be possible to synchronize these events. The third season will start within the next few weeks, while the class system will be implemented only at the beginning of next year as part of one of the mid-season updates.
Along the way, new-old weapons from previous games in the series will be added to the game, including XM8 and A-91 assault rifles, a new battlefield and two reworked old ones, as well as a new specialist hero who will take his place in one of the four classes.
