This week the AllCellular reported the case of a Brazilian who assembled his computer hardware inside a microwave, an appliance that was used to house all the desktop components, including the processor, video card, power supply and other accessories essential for the machine to work. .
In addition to this daring project, recently another user also decided to innovate by installing the entire configuration of his Mac Mini, from Apple, on the structure of a Nintendo Wii, a console launched in 2012. The execution was done by youtuber Luke Miani, who showed the entire process of personalization in a video posted on your channel.
According to the content creator, the idea was to make the Mac Mini have a retro design and, for that, he chose to use an old console that was not being used by him.🇧🇷 Because it was not designed to house components from another project, the structure of the Nintendo Wii had to be adjusted to fit the video game components.
Most of the adjustments were carried out using parts created in a 3D printer and other modifications to the console’s housing, such as the insertion of a small 12V fan to assist in the cooling of the hardware, this because the space of the new structure does not have many air intakes. may overheat the CPU.
After many hours of work and adjustments, Luke was able to successfully complete the customization, being able to use his Mac Mini to run new generation games, but under the construction of the Nintendo Wii.
