Studio Two Point working on introducing support for custom modifications in the university simulator Two Point Campus. It is not yet known when players will have access to the mods, but it should happen “very soon”.
Studio’s previous project, Two Point Hospitalsupports Steam Workshop, but the editor mostly allows you to create your own wallpapers and rugs. And for Two Point Campus, they want to prepare much more powerful and flexible functions, with the ability to create items.
To achieve this, developers will resort to platform support Mod.io, and this will allow the use of cross-platform modifications for PC and consoles. The first step will be the modification of items, if everything goes smoothly, the studio will take on other aspects of the game.
In the meantime, experienced modders are invited to take part in a small beta testing. It is emphasized that modders will need familiarity with Unity. Those interested are asked to contact the developers. Two Point Campus was released in August on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series. AT Steam it has garnered very positive reviews.
