The Dead by Daylight Halloween event has now come to an end, but the multiplayer horror title seems to have other interesting surprises in store for the future, as recently stated by the developers of Behavior Interactive.
According to what stated to Dexerto’s microphones by Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships of the development team, the growing success of Dead by Daylight would be paving the way for always new and exciting crossovers with other franchises. Fans, Côté added, will be surprised by the collaborations in store for the future, some of which may even go beyond the mere realm of horror.
“We have many partners, with whom we have excellent relationships. Discussing potential crossovers today is easier, thanks to the reputation Dead by Daylight has built over time: it is rare to find people in the world of horror who have not heard of the game or who have not played it. “
“The range of options to choose from is therefore wider than ever. We took a more comical road with Ash Williams and also entered the world of anime with Attack on Titan. You would be surprised at some of the discussions we are having (with our partners) recently “.
And if good old Mathieu Côté says so, we can really expect a ‘pretty good job’. On the other hand, even the crossover Dead By Daylight x Resident Evil has shown the great success of Behavior Interactive’s asymmetrical multiplayer to the general public.
Dead By Daylight is a multiplayer survival horror title available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S | X, Xbox One and PC.
