It will be on November 23 that Honor, former Huawei brand, will unveil its new foldable smartphone Vs.
One of the big surprises will be the integrated processor. The brand will keep the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and not the new chip that Qualcomm will announce next week. And there’s a reason why that happens.
Honor Vs arrives with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor
Honor has already confirmed that on November 23 it will hold a press conference. The brand is expected to reveal on this occasion the new foldable smartphone Vs. But it seems that the former Huawei brand will equip the model with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and not the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that Qualcomm will announce on the 16th of November.
This is an unexpected option, but it has already deserved clarification in the Web world. According to the rumors released, Honor will not include the new Qualcomm chip, as the Vs is “only” a variant of the previous terminal and not a new folding model.
In other words, it is an iteration and not a model that will give rise to a new generation of foldable smartphones from the brand.
Expected Specs on Honor Vs
Meanwhile, leaker Digital Chat Station shared on the social network Weibo some of the specs we can expect to see in the upcoming Honor foldable.
Thus, in addition to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the model will also have a 4,750 mAh battery with support for 66-watt fast charging.
Like the previous model, it should also have two screens that are substantial in size. The exterior is 6.7 inches and the interior is 7.9 inches, both being OLED panel.
It is also expected to be available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal storage capacity. For the rest, it should also inherit the triple rear camera configuration with three sensors with 50 megapixels of resolution each.
