The international eSports organization ESL has announced the rating of the best players of the decade in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The first place was taken by the Ukrainian esportsman Oleksandr Kostylev, known under the nickname s1mple. He has been playing for the NAVI (Natus Vincere) team for many years. During his career, the Ukrainian won many major tournaments and was twice recognized as the best player in the world according to HLTV.org. Alexander was awarded on the stage of the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro before the start of the IEM Rio Major 2022 semi-finals.
The overall ranking includes thirteen athletes. Among them there is another Ukrainian – Daniil Zeus Teslenko. The full list is below:
