Atomic Heart is set in an alternate world of Soviet history full of robots. Each one is skillfully based on the knowledge of the Atomic Heart, built by Establishment 3826 to assist the populace on a daily basis. Here we take a closer look at four of the many unique designs created by developer Mundfish for Atomic Heart.
One of the early models of bipedal civilian robots MFU-68 very quickly became a universal assistant in various fields of activity. A significant advantage of this small-sized machine is the simplicity of its design, which makes it possible to operate it in various weather and climatic conditions, move perfectly over rough terrain, and be equipped with a wide range of tools.
Originally designed for small item delivery, veterinary care and livestock grazing, it features a 40cm circular saw that, combined with an advanced polymer battery, delivers outstanding logging performance.
RAF-9 is a friendly and helpful multipurpose robot that always exceeds the expectations of its creators. This model was developed to help assembly workers, designers and architects. The first of its kind, the robot was equipped with high-precision manipulator arms, allowing people to free themselves from all types of manual labor.
The RAF-9 model has a communication module that helps her communicate with people in a more natural way. This robot, commonly called “Rafik”, is widely known and loves to find its place not only in workshops, but also in people’s homes. He can easily perform the functions of a janitor, an electrician or even a waiter, always being in the spotlight of the public.
VOV-A6 Laboratory assistant
The most advanced serial robot of Institution 3826. The VOV-A6 laboratory assistant, or, as scientists called him, “Vovchik”, is a first-class assistant robot. Extremely intelligent AI with high multitasking abilities, these amazing machines even have self-healing algorithms. They are assigned such complex tasks as assisting in surgery or handling chemicals. In addition, this robot gets along well with both children and the elderly, as it takes care of them and entertains them.
VOV-A6 black is an improved version of the Laboratory Assistant. These robots are stronger, faster, and have greater motion accuracy thanks to additional polymer battery additives and experimental software.
A master welder and a key tool for the future of high-rise urban planning, the MA-9 Belyash is a reflection of nature in robot form. After carefully studying the skeleton of a chimpanzee, Object 3826 scientists created the MA-9 to move building materials weighing up to half a ton.
With its characteristic powerful long limbs, ability to cling to vertical surfaces and swing from building beams, the influence of primates is clearly visible. Belyash has another unique feature: the head. Connected directly to the polymer battery power supply, it has all the functionality of an argon-arc welding machine – complete with a laser rangefinder.
