If some clues unearthed on Ubisoft Connect already presaged the imminent arrival of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Steam, then Roller Champions has also been spotted in the Valve platform database.
Although to date there has been no official statement from the transalpine company, the various sightings that have taken place in recent months suggest that the company intends to totally reopen to Steam. In the case of Roller Championswe are also talking about a title that has not managed to conquer a particularly large slice of users, and a debut on a platform as popular as that of Steam could greatly benefit Ubisoft’s sports title.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla it is instead a title that has enjoyed unprecedented success for the series, and has driven Ubisoft’s revenues during the last financial quarter. A Steam launch, however, could capture those users interested in the series but who haven’t yet dived into Eivor’s Norse adventure as it is limited to Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store.
All this could lead to the future launch of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, expected in the course of 2023, and of all the main Ubisoft productions that we will see in the coming months. We just have to wait for any official comments from Yves Guillemot’s company.
