If we all talk about what anime-based fighting game is best able to represent the appeal of the anime version, then not a few of us will immediately point to Naruto’s Ultimate Ninja Storm series from Bandai Namco. Its beauty and fun as a fighting arena game has also succeeded in making CyberConnect2’s name to remain as a specialist developer for adaptation matters like this to this day. With the popularity that continues to this day, of course, it’s a big question whether Bandai Namco will return to the Naruto series again or not in the future. Although direct confirmation has not yet been released, hope is suddenly opened.
The reason? Bandai Namco has just registered a specific name with the relevant European bodies. That’s right, they just listed the name “Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections” which in the past clearly referred to the CyberConnect2 concoction arena fighting game based on the Naruto franchise. As we know, the last series – Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was released in 2016, leaving a long hiatus for this series to return. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco did not provide any comment about how this project will end.
Bandai Namco registered the name “Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections” in Europe.
How about you? There’s hope that what Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will turn out to be?
