The new adventures of Kratos and Atreus started in the country better than almost all other games of this year, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Elden Ring. The only exception is FIFA 23. This, of course, is only about sales on the disc – the “figure” in this chart is not taken into account.
At the same time, retail sales of Ragnarok for the first week were 51% higher than the level God of War 2018, the previous record holder for this indicator. And just a few days later, Ragnarok became the third game in the series in terms of the total number of copies sold (and the second game in the series in terms of revenue).
But God of War: Ragnarok was not the only novelty of the past week. Then she went out and Sonic Frontiers, which debuted in fourth place. Sales of the game by the end of the week exceeded the same level Sonic Forces by 5%. But Football Manager 2023 did not make it into the top 10, being only at position 11 – its sales are 18% less than the level Football Manager 2022 for the first week.
