VK hosted the official Russian app store RuStore on the platform Standoff 365 Bug Bounty. This means that the application is now available to security researchers, popularly known as white hat hackers. For found vulnerabilities, the company will pay from 3 to 60 thousand rubles, depending on the level of threat.
“All applications published in the app store are subject to a mandatory check for malicious code using Kaspersky Lab technologies and manual moderation. Inclusion of RuStore in the program to find vulnerabilities will help us to improve the security record.”
