At the PC Gaming Show now airing, developer DogHowl Games and publisher tinyBuild unveiled a new gameplay trailer from Level Zeroa horror 4v2 asymmetrical PvP in which a group of scientists must fight aliens inside a nightmarish space station.
In the Level Zero matches, a group of four scientists must repair the control systems of a space station to escape, while the opposing team, represented by two alien creatures, must hunt them down and eliminate them.
Scientists aside can fend off the aliens with simulated objects and light sources and buy time. Meanwhile, players will also have to work together to repair damaged systems, with gameplay therefore rewarding coordination and strategy rather than aim and reflexes.
The aliens on the other hand are outnumbered but can hunt scientists in the shadows, use blowholes to hide and telepathic abilities, playing the role of predators. Furthermore, during the matches there will be random power blackouts that you will need to exploit to your advantage.
Level Zero is currently in development for PC and PlayStation and Xbox consoles, with a launch scheduled for later 2023.
