The three narrative lines of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are preparing to come to life in the first open-world game of the Game Freak video game series.
On the eve of the publication on Nintendo Switch of the pair of titles, the critics issued their verdict, a somewhat controversial result. The reviews of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet currently available, in fact, they paint very different pictures, between perfect scores and little more than warm welcomes.
Using the aggregation platform of Metacriticwe point out that at the moment the Metascore of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet stands on 78/100. The 35 available reviews, as mentioned, differ considerably. For example, the editorial staff of The Enemy assigns a 100/100 to the titles, while five other publications rank above 90/100. Over a dozen reviewers preferred to settle on and 80/100but just as many opted for a vote that ranks between 70/100 and 75/100. Finally, there is enough space, among which we mention the 60/100 attributed by the British Guardian and the GamesRadar editorial staff.
Overall, the new game pair Game Freak has greatly divided video game criticism. On the pages of Everyeye you can obviously already find our review of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, signed by Gabriele Laurino.
