Soul Hackers 2 has released its first major post-launch update, version 1.02. The update adds several new features, such as the Dash feature for Ringo, which allows you to walk and hit at a faster rate.
Battles now have a “Speed Up” mode to increase combat speed, which players can freely toggle as needed. Four new demons have also been added. They don’t count towards registration percentages in the Demon Compendium.
Other quality-of-life features include adjusting the rate at which skills are inherited during demon fusion (the trailer notes that skills are “easier to inherit”) and the rate at which enemies spawn in dungeons. Players will also be able to teleport directly to shops from the city map. If you had problems with incorrect input when leveling up the soul, then the prompt flow has been adjusted.
Check out the full patch below. Soul Hackers 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Although Sega Sammy was unable to reach the expected sales level, it will continue to update the role-playing game in order to “expand sales” according to the financial results of the second quarter of fiscal year 22. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
