It seemed endless, but Eivor’s journey is truly coming to an end: Ubisoft has announced the date when it will launch theAssassin’s Creed Valhalla latest content updateincluding The Last Chapter expansion.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s final update, which concludes two years of post-launch support for the action-RPG, will arrive on December 6th and will include some exciting new game content including The Last Chapter, “a touching and intimate conclusion to the Eivor saga”. This epilogue will close some of the storylines developed during the game and will seal the conclusion of your time spent in the Clan of the Raven. To access the expansion included in Title Update 1.6.2, players will need to have completed the following story actions:
Complete the main storyline by engaging in all territories of England; Complete the Mythical Asgard and Jotunheim story arcs; Upgrade your settlement to level 5 and build the Jomsviking barracks; Kill all Order of the Ancients targets and reveal its leader.
Ubisoft also communicated the end of seasonal eventswith included rewards that will be made available to all players at merchants located throughout England after completing the First Night of Samhain quest.
The company also specified that, although it was a feature strongly requested by the community, the New Game Plus will not arrive: “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was built as a unique Assassin’s Creed experience, very different from its predecessors in its structure, offering new ways to interact with the world and its characters. By analyzing the implementation of the New Game+, we realized that the depth of the game has given us limited options to make the replay value unique and rewarding,” the developers said.
Finally, the addition of a specific option that will allow you to use the hood in-game at any time you want. This is a purely aesthetic addition, which does not introduce anything new from a gameplay point of view. Who knows if following this last big update the rumored arrival of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on Steam will not be announced.
