Despite announcing the end of support for Ghost Recon Breakpoint last spring, Ubisoft has not yet completely abandoned its tactical shooter, which indeed officially arrives in the next-gen.
Through an announcement made through its social channels, the French company confirms that thefree upgrade a PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X/S from Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available to all players, also confirming all the details relating to the technical improvements made for the two new versions of the game.
There are two different graphics modes available on both the Sony and Microsoft platforms: one Performance Mode a 1080p e 60fps, ed una Resolution Mode to 4K (upscaled in the case of Xbox Series X) and 30fps. With regard to Xbox Series Sfinally, the work will travel at 1440p and 30fps. For the rest, the contents are the same as already seen on PC, PS4 e Xbox One, and with the end of game support confirmed in the first months of 2022, it is very unlikely that new content designed specifically for the next-gen will be created. In any case, from now on it is possible to enjoy Ghost Recon Breakpoint in top technical form.
In the meantime, uncertainty remains about the future of the brand: a report by my city hypothesized the release of a new Ghost Recon by 2023, but for the moment Ubisoft has not revealed any plans for the continuation of the series.
