The Archon Studio team, also creator of Wolfenstein: The Board Game and Masters of the Universe: Fields of Eternia, has officially obtained the license from Ubisoft to produce the official board game of Heroes of Might & Magic III, which blends evergreen like resource management and deckbuilding in an inimitable fantasy context.
The game allows a total of 1-4 players to fight against mysterious creatures, expand your city and collect artifacts in an adventure taken right from the video game. You will have to choose a faction, randomly create the map with special hexagonal planks, explore it and obtain resources and new heroes to upgrade your city and recruit more powerful units. The heroes themselves then evolve, giving the player more cards with skills and units useful for defeating all hostile creatures towards the achievement of the final objective, which can be the military defeat of the opponents or the finding of the Grail.
With the purchase of the basic game for 75 euros you get 20 tiles, 6 miniatures of the heroes, cards and related tokens. With the purchase of the Azure tier for 119 euros, on the other hand, they are well received 21 additional miniatures including dragons, liches, minotaurs and knights, all to be painted, and additional props depending on the amount of money obtained to finance the project. At 169 euros you get all these benefits, along with three expansions with additional cards, miniatures and maps to enrich the fights between players and more.
