New World Interactive’s shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm has been out for a little over a year now – and yet there’s still fresh game content. A new free update has now been made available with “Operation Livewire”.
New World Interactive has announced and released the third major content update of the Year 2 Pass for the first-person shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm. This is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam, EGS) as well as an improved version on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Free new game content included in the update includes a new game mode, new weapons, and new items for the characters. Additional weapon skins and cosmetic items are also available as paid new content.
The new game mode is “Defusal”. You start the timer in Operation: Livewire by planting a bomb on an armory as an insurgent. As security you have to defend the camp and defuse the bomb.
