Returning from the world tour of NFS Unbound in 70 songs, the guys at Criterion regain the pages of the official EA site to describe Lakeshore Online, the beating heart of theNeed for Speed Unbound multiplayer experience.
Parallel to the activities of the main campaign, Lakeshore Online is described to us by Criterion as aexperience in its own right characterized by a specific progression accessed from the NFS Unbound main menu.
The Lajkeshore Online virtual garage will house all the cars unlocked by your alter-ego and will provide all the tools needed to carry out the tuning and customization. The multiplayer module of Need for Speed Unbound will offer numerous events, from Quick Games to competitions accessible from matchmaking while exploring the open world map. In Guida Libera, for example, a maximum of 16 players they will be able to dart through the streets of Lakeshore and try their hand at ‘dynamic’ challenges based on the exploration of the city.
To participate in the ‘official’ Lakeshore Online races, and individual playlists of already started or upcoming challenges, you will have to take part in the Gatherings. The classified challenges will guarantee a greater quantity of Experience Points and, with them, more possibilities to customize and develop your racing cars.
Lakeshore Online will open its doors with the release of Need for Speed Unbound, scheduled for December 2nd on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
