From the columns of the PlayStation Blog, the guys from Nixxes Software celebrate the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales on PC by discussing the work done on PC to evolve, enrich and improve the open world adventure of Insomniac Games launched to coincide with the arrival on the PlayStation 5 market.
The software house that dealt with this important porting explains that the “Configurability and customization are two key aspects of PC gaming. At Nixxes, we wanted to make sure that gaming was enjoyable and playable on a wide range of systems, from laptop PCs up to high-end configurations featuring the latest GPUs and ultrawide monitors.”
The other aspect that Nixxes took special care of was support for the widest range of ‘input options’. If you care to play with a controller, there are tons of options at your disposal in Spider-Man Miles Morales on PC. You can use the PS5 DualSense with a wired USB connection to enjoy the full controller experience. But we support a very wide range of devices, with countless Steam Input remapping options. The game, of course, can also be played with a mouse and keyboard through an ad-hoc command scheme”.
No less important are the interventions made by Nixxes Software to take advantage of the latest technologies in the PC gaming field, also here with a plethora of customizable options and features such as quality presets, options for activating Ray Tracing in the management of reflections and shadows or the use of advanced upscalers like NVIDIA DLSS 3.
