Simone Alessandrini in art Jok3rfamous for being the brother of the influencer Cicciogamer89, was banned indefinitely from Twitch, after a period of shadowban (inability to find it through the platform’s search engine), for reasons yet to be clarified. In the meantime, the platform has removed him from the partnership program, sanctioning the end of their economic relationship. The indefinite ban was confirmed by Jok3r himself on Instagram, who however did not explain the reason.
Why was it banned, then? The most accredited hypotheses are two. One speaks of buying subscriptions through bots, i.e. subs obtained from bots subscribed to Amazon Prime that can be purchased in stock, which are used by streamers to increase revenue, subscriptions and views and which are particularly problematic for Twitch. In the case Jok3r denies having purchased the subscriptions through bots and states that, in the case, his haters would have done so to have him banned indefinitely. Between ourselves, we don’t think it’s that easy to do, otherwise you could get pretty much any streamer banned.
The second, weaker hypothesis is the gambling promotion. Jok3r, followed above all by a very young audience, has never been shy in sponsoring the practice. Twitch has recently become much more restrictive of this type of content.
Jok3r’s Twitch channel is currently completely inaccessible: “The channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of the Community Guidelines or Twitch Terms of Service.”
A few hours ago it was learned that Cicciogamer89, his brother, evaded the taxman for a million dollars.
