November 19th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. by Maximilian Hohm – The new card game Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days launched on Steam with very confident prices. In addition to the full purchase price of an AAA title, there is an additional 180 euros for DLCs if you want to own all the content for the Japanese game. Therefore, read more about the game and how it is received below.
Most of the card games currently popular on the PC are available for free and are no less fun than paid titles. There are games like Hearthstone, Gwent, Magic: The Gathering Arena and many more. At this point it must also be mentioned that a lot of money can also be spent on these free games, but it is not necessary. Things are different with the new title Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days off.
Gaming at work: Microsoft Teams comes with Minesweeper & Solitaire
The title has been available on Steam for three days now and comes from the Japanese publisher Furyo Corporation. The card game with anime-style characters doesn’t cost anything like the competition, but an obscene-looking EUR 58.99. This is the same price range in which otherwise current AAA games are located, which can certainly offer more gaming options than a deck of cards. But the price madness is not over at this point. Instead of thinking that buying a full-price base game would be enough, there are still DLCs.
There is a total of 17 additional content that costs between 5.89 and 51.49 euros. In total, all DLCs together cost another 179.53 euros in addition to the base game. However, those prices don’t seem to have deterred fans of card games from buying one. In the Steam Charts, the current number of players is around 1,100 people, while the all-time peak is almost 1,600 people. The Steam ratings are in the very good range and currently 90 percent of the reviews are positive, so fans of card games will probably also like Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days get their money’s worth.
