Game News “They remade Fall Guys in Halo Infinite!” : The best creations with the Forge

Since November 8, 2022, Halo Infinite has been enjoying the benefits of the Winter Update which has brought online co-op and especially Forge mode into beta. Players around the world now have access to a host of tools to create their own multiplayer levels and experiences. As usual, talented users have already managed to deliver experiences that are worth checking out. Here is a small selection.
Updated old Halo maps
As usual, when a developer gives access to a level editor, many users get their hands dirty trying to recreate what they already know. This is completely normal in the learning process. This is why we find in Halo Infinite maps from old episodes completely redone thanks to the Forge. As of this writing, the Damnation (Halo 1), Foundation (Halo 2), Lockout (Halo 2), and Valhalla (Halo 3) maps are being revamped by fans.. Additionally, other users recreated the Pillar of Autumn level from the first title, while others had fun redoing the human cruiser as seen in Combat Evolved. Not bad !
A Fall Guys mini game to put you to the test
If there’s one game we didn’t expect to be copied thanks to Halo Infinite’s Forge mode, it’s Fall Guys. At first glance, the universes of the two titles have nothing in common, even though Master Chief would have lent his armor to the famous beans on the occasion of the arrival of multiplayer software on the Microsoft console. However, the user Unsorted guy was inspired by the test of colored blocks that disintegrate as participants pass to create his map, entitled Hex-a-gone. Everything is still under development, but the idea has something to smile about. This level also proves that it is possible to script behaviors absent from the base game (platforms that disappear after the passage of a Spartan).
Snake! In an arcade machine
Haaa… Halo. Its green plains, its extraterrestrial worlds, its spaceships, its arcade cabinets. Appeared in Halo Infinite as an Easter Egg broadcasting the theme of the game in chiptune version, the terminals now serve as a playground for the most daring “forgers”. Inspired by the work of Red Nomster, a user who had managed to code a 2D platformer via the Forge, Iron Skywalker took on the challenge of making a working Snake game. Yes yes. It’s up to you to move a little snake that gets bigger as it collects colored blocks in Halo Infinite. If with that you still doubt the potential of the Forge…
Netflix in the spotlight with Stranger Things and The Platform
When you are a creator, there are several ways to consider a tool that allows you to shape your ideas. The first is to use it to script things not in the base game, like a procedural terrain technique or a generator that powers lights. The second is to use it to copy or draw inspiration from familiar universes. This is what user Shadow27AU did. Still under development, its level takes place in the Upside Down for a rather visually convincing result if we rely on the images broadcast. For its part, Raimond95809008 has shaped a map inspired by the prison of the film available on Netflix entitled The Platform.
Many other creations are being put together by the community. We got to see racing games aboard Warthog as well as original grapple-based game modes, among other goodies. Some awesome maps are already available, and we can’t wait to see what we can find in the coming weeks. Halo Infinite est disponible sur PC, Xbox Series X|S et Xbox One.
