In Lhasa, the administrative capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region (China), the world’s highest (4200 m) cloud data center has been launched. The site currently has a capacity of 3,000 racks; it supports the operation of cloud services for 491 information systems in the region. We talked about the data center project in Tibet in the summer of 2020. The total area of the complex is 645 thousand m2, the area of its buildings is 400 thousand m2. The data center is managed by the semi-state company Tibet Ningsuan Technology Group.
