As we have already had the opportunity to highlight in our review of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the new pair of games developed by Game Freak has the merit of introducing many new features in the popular and over twenty-year-old series. Unfortunately, along with the new mechanics there are also a number of obvious technical problems.
Among these, in addition to performance hesitations and graphical glitches, there are also application crashes that can potentially also cause a loss of game saves. Well, in anticipation of nefarious events like these, the guys at Game Freak have hidden in the code a backup function for recovering progress. As evidenced by the video-guida di GameXPlainto access it you must press simultaneously X + B + D-pad Up in the main menu – a real cheat code!
Once you activate what appears to be a real cheat code, a screen will appear that will allow you to restore a recent save point managed independently by the game. This trick it works even if auto-save is turned off! This is an incredibly useful tool, although it would be better if there were no crashes. While waiting for an intervention by Game Freak to stem the phenomenon, you can in any case sleep more peacefully.
While we’re at it, we remind you – if you haven’t already done so – to redeem the Flying Therapeutic Pikachu for free before it’s too late.
