IGN’s YouTube channel has exclusively released a new video gameplay from Atomic Heart in which numerous combat sequences are shown and explained in outline how the looting and progression system of the game.
In the video we can see how the damage we will cause to robots and automatons will be represented in a realistic way, for example with dents and destroyed limbs, depending on the affected parts. Once the enemy on duty has been eliminated, it will be possible to extract various components from their cold metal bodies by sucking them into the protagonist’s left hand. These pieces will play an important role in the progression of Atomic Heart as they serve to unlock various upgrades for weapons and abilities.
The protagonist’s vacuum cleaner-like skills also allow you to collect loot and scrap metal almost anywhere and at any time in a few moments, a solution that allows you to always keep the pace of the game high. On the other hand, there is a weight limit which, once exceeded, will cause some penalties, such as slowed down movements.
Before leaving you, we remind you that Atomic Heart will be available from February 21, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass catalog at launch.
