In addition to the new free GT7 update which will introduce at least three new cars into the racing game, Sony and Polyphony Digital celebrate the Gran Turismo 25th Anniversary announced four days of GT Finals at Le Sporting Monte Carlo, the setting for the first World Finals of 2018 and 2019.
In Monaco, from 24 to 27 November, 56 of the fastest Gran Turismo drivers in the worldfrom 19 countries, who will battle it out in three different championships.
The event will be inaugurated by Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup, whose title will be contested by 24 drivers. The race will be broadcast live from 5.00pm (local time) on Thursday 24 November. On Friday 25 November 30 riders will take to the virtual track for the regional finals of the Nations Cup. The race, also broadcast live at 17:00 (local time), will decide the champions of the Asia-Oceania, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and America regions, as well as the 12 drivers who will advance to the prestigious Nations Final Cup on Sunday 27 November from 17:00 (local time). Between the two events of the Nations Cup fits the Manufacturers Cup, which will take place on Saturday 26 November (also in this case, at 17:00!). The Manufacturers Cup pits 12 teams of three drivers each, representing Gran Turismo’s leading manufacturers partners.
The celebrations of the world of racing and Gran Turismo are not reserved only for the lucky ones who will attend Monaco. There world map will be updated to show four banners top right: World Series, Bonus Campaign, Spectator Campaign, Gran Turismo 25th Anniversary. With these you will be able to participate in quizzes (here you will find the times in which you can answer), make your predictions on the world competition and take part in special competitions with which to win points. Plus, for a limited time (November 24 to December 5), they will be there increased rewards for each run in Sport modeand some of the special liveries from the GT World Series World Finals will be distributed between November 24 and December 3.
The Gran Turismo ambassador will speak during the broadcast of the finals Sir Lewis Hamilton, who will offer words of encouragement for the pilots.
