The Kickstarter campaign of Elden Ring Board Game begins in the best way for Steamforged Games: the company commissioned by FromSoftware to give shape to the official board game of Elden Ring has in fact collected in just under twenty-four hours the beauty of 1.7 million euros!
At the time of writing, the total amount invested by Kickstarter backers to make the dream of all Senzaluce board game enthusiasts come true amounts to exactly 1,760,340 euros, a sum that exceeds by more than ten times that initial request from the guys at Steamforged Games to ensure the arrival of this board game on the market.
The presentation movie that accompanies the opening of the Elden Ring Board Game Kickstarter campaign shows us a Beautifully reconstructed interregnumwith pawns full of details and a combat system that is immediate and deep at the same time, based on the use of cards instead of dice.
The game map consists of modular hexes with an incredibly large number of combinations. In the rich content package packaged by Steamforged, the presence of solo or cooperative modes stands out for up to a maximum of four players, each enhanced by a hero customization system and a series of ‘environmental modifiers’ (in the form of cards or ‘tokens’ to be placed on the map) which aim to infuse further originality and uniqueness into each game (of variable duration between 60 and over 120 minutes).
The Elden Ring The Board Game’s Kickstarter campaign ends on December 2nd: only then we will have a clearer picture of the situation between expansions, improvements to the base game and additional features, as well as on the timing of the launch and the price.
