Elden Ring is the most successful game in the history of FromSoftware and, for some, that success is directly proportional to the quality of the title, thus making it the Magna Opera of the Japanese studio. However, this did not put a stop to the ambitions of Hidetaka Miyazaki, who expressly said he had something new in mind even more interesting than the candidate number 1 for GOTY 2022.
During the Golden Joystick Awards ceremony, where Elden Ring won the title of Ultimate Game of the Year and Best Multiplayer, Hidetaka Miyazaki has launched a noteworthy promise. The goal of the Japanese Game Director is to be able to overcome even Elden Ring with the next projectwhose identity we still ignore, thus aiming to create one of the best games ever.
“A final message to our players, it seems strange to say while receiving such a prestigious award, but we are fully committed to continuing to make more and more interesting games, so I hope you can continue to hold high expectations for us” says Hidetaka Miyazaki.
Miyazaki also added that we won’t have to wait too long before seeing FromSoftware’s next creature. The game would in fact be in the final stages of development and, according to several leaks, the game should be a new Armored Core. And what do you think? Will Miyazaki be able to surpass himself and do even better than his majesty Elden Ring?
The game, we recall, is in the running for several awards during the evening of The Game Awards on 8 December 2022. The main one is the title of Game of the Year contested between the latest effort by FromSoftware, God of War Ragnarok, Stray , Horizon Forbidden West, A Plague Tale Requiem and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
