Cory Barlog’s words recently made us think of a possible God of War Ragnarok DLC coming but in the new episode of the Kinda Funny Games podcast, the Game Director Eric Williams seems to want to remove the rumors that have emerged in this regard.
Eric Williams reiterates as Santa Monica Studios not working on a sequel to God of War Ragnarok, in fact the Norse adventures of Kratos will not become a trilogy and the journey in the cold lands of the North is officially over. Also regarding expansions and DLC, at the moment the studio seems to have no plans for it and Williams confirms how the team “put everything they wanted into God of War Ragnarok. It’s a huge game.”
Of course, that doesn’t mean they won’t be there new content for Ragnarokfor example the photo mode will arrive soon via free patch, or let’s think about the possible addition of the New Game Plus in God of War Ragnarok, however the Game Director wanted to turn off the enthusiasm regarding any expansions or DLC for the story.
But will it really be like this? We’ll find out in the coming months, it is certain that Kratos’ adventures seem destined to continue in the future, but we still don’t know in what form.
