Ahead of Need for Speed Unbound’s imminent release, developer Criterion and publisher EA have provided additional information about the game regarding console performance, crossplay, and a preload date along with an exact release time.
Console players can also expect the game to run at 60fps with resolution depending on which specific console you’re using.
Console Game Features:
Cross-play is available in Lakeshore Online, the online multiplayer mode in Need for Speed Unbound. When you launch Lakeshore Online for the first time, you will be notified that cross-play is enabled. When this feature is enabled, you will be racing against PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S players. On Xbox, you may need to enable cross-play in your account settings. When you join Lakeshore Online, invite and join other sessions across all platforms. When crossplay is disabled, only consoles in your family (such as PlayStation 5 or PC) will be matched.
