The Darkmoon trinkets have been some of the best gear you can get at the start of an expansion for many years. The four strong trinkets, usually one for tanks, healers, ranged and melee fighters, must first be assembled from the individual cards of the respective set. The maps, in turn, are made by the inscribers. However, since it is not clear beforehand which card will be created in the process, the motto is: collect, exchange, produce.
It will work in a similar way in WoW (buy now): Dragonflight. Because there will also be new dark moon jewelry on the Dragon Islands. However, this time things are a little different. Because after the developers in Shadowlands realized that animal sets are too cool to limit them to the raid, they have now determined that the trinkets are too cool to limit them to Inscriptionists.

Darkmoon Trinkets for Everyone!
In WoW: Dragonflight there will be different tiers of Darkmoon trinkets. On the one hand, this is due to the revision of the craft, in which a manufactured item can have different levels, depending on the resources and skill of the craftsman. But also because there are two fundamentally different versions: the Darkmoon deck box and the Darkmoon deck. Both work the same, but differ in strength and origin.
The Darkmoon deck box is the weaker variant and comes with an item level of 350. Of course there are four variants:
The special thing about this weaker version is that you don’t necessarily have to have the inscriptionalist produce the cards for you. They can also drop as Muddy Blobs from Darkmoon cards of any type of content.
We’ve definitely noted feedback on the initial leveling experience taking a lot of effort/time until you reach crafts that are useful.
It’s important to know that Darkmoon Cards will drop from all forms of content. The Darkmoon Booster recipe is not the only way to source them.
The Darkmoon card set, on the other hand, has an item level that starts at 372 and must be made from the respective individual cards.
However, Blizzard does not seem to be quite sure about the names. If the card set is further upgraded by Inscriptionists, it becomes a Darkmoon card set box with a higher item level. The only important thing is that there is a starter version that you can create from found cards and the inscriptionalists can create an upgraded version – provided they have unlocked the right skills in their specialization.
Also, there are some cool things that the Inscriptionist can do to affect the Darkmoon decks. For this he must use a so-called dark moon seal during production:
