Interesting information appeared on the Web last night: it turns out that if you purchase a season pass for The Callisto Protocol, then players will receive not only additional game content, but even such trifles as a greater variety of deaths of opponents and the main character. This circumstance, as it often happens in the modern gaming industry, gave rise to the idea that some of the content had already been cut out of The Callisto Protocol, in order to proudly pass it off as new content.
But today, the game director of The Callisto Protocol and part-time father of Dead Space, Glen Scofield clarifiedhow the content of the season pass really is. According to Scofield, nothing was cut from the game for the sake of further sale as part of the season pass. What’s more, the team hasn’t even started working on the content of the Season Pass yet: all of its content is new content that will be released in the new year. As for the death animations, Scofield assures us that the studio is simply satisfying the request of fans who wanted “EVEN MORE deaths.”
