One fan doesn’t like the fact that Palace Edition buyers get access to the game three days in advance. Therefore, a discussion with an EA employee arose, for which the world-renowned publisher apologized today.
Who for 90 euros the Palace Edition from “Need for Speed Unbound” can start three days before the actual release. EA drew attention to this advantage again this week with a tweet.
So cry bro
One user knew nothing about this and expressed his displeasure with this decision. This led to a discussion with the account manager of the racing game and the angry fan. The latter was accused of having a “milkshake brain”, whereupon he countered with “milkshake company”. The EA staffer then wrote, “Cry about it bro, or buy it at regular price.”
With that, the fan was finally pissed off and made it clear: “I wanted to buy your game on release day, but because of the account admin you lost a sale”.
Today EA felt compelled to make a statement about this fan dispute. They admitted to having crossed a line in the hype surrounding “Need for Speed Unbound”. The publisher therefore apologizes to the user concerned.
In the meantime, the original Twitter post has already been deleted. However, because the internet doesn’t forget anything, there are of course pictures and also a video of the dispute discussed.
